The idea for Root-Portal, and some of the code for what is now the
Roottext module came from a program called Root-Tail.
Root-Tail was written by Mike Baker (mbm@linux.com). In his words:
root-tail was discontinued due to lack of resources and the increasing
availability of other means of achieving the same effect.
So although he doesn't maintain root-tail any more, he has provided us
with a neat idea, and some code to base stuff off. Thanks Mike.
